This poster is of Caspar Friedrich's Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog. It shows a man, Friedrich himself, standing on a high mountain before a great mass of fog. Peaks of other mountains can be seen above the surface of the fog. This poster measures approx. 11" x 14" Caspar David Friedrich (September 5, 1774 - May 7, 1840) was a 19th century German romantic painter, considered by many critics to be one of the finest representatives of the movement. His famous works include Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog, The Sea of Ice, and Chalk Cliffs on Rugen.
